How does the Online MILKLAB Barista Battle work?

  1. Take a video of you doing your finest latte art pour using any MILKLAB plant-based milk, no cuts, no edits!
  2. Upload it to Instagram or TikTok between 14 Jan - 9 Feb 2026
  3. In the caption you must tag @milklabco and #MILKLAB2026BB and drop your state in the caption

From there a state winner will be picked and flown to Melbourne to compete at the MILKLAB Barista Battle National Finals, held at the Melbourne International Coffee Expo (MICE) on 26-28 March 2026.

Rules

Prizes 🏆

  • 8 State winners will win a double pass to the Melbourne International Coffee Expo (MICE), return flights and accommodation to Melbourne for you and a mate for 3 nights.
    • VIC winner will receive a $250 VISA gift card in lieu of flights and accommodation.
  • National winner will win $3,000 cash prize and an opportunity to become a MILKLAB Master Barista valued at $2,000.  The winner will also have the opportunity to compete in the International MILKLAB Barista Battle Final to WIN a trip for two to America to attend the World of Coffee Panama (2026 World Latte Art & World Cup Tasters Championships), 23rd -25th October.
  • 10 runner-up winners will win a MILKLAB merch pack for the most unique and creative submissions - it's time to let your creativity fly!
