Ingredients

  • 1 cup MILKLAB® Lactose Free
  • 2 cups water1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 vanilla bean1 star anise
  • 2 whole cloves
  • 1 cup white quinoa
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp almond meal

Method

  1. Combine water, cinnamon, vanilla, star anise and cloves in a saucepan over medium heat and simmer.
  2. Add quinoa and simmer for 12 minutes until liquid is absorbed.
  3. Add MILKLAB® Lactose Free, honey and almond meal, stir to combine and remove from heat.
  4. Top with poached pears and a sprinkle of ground cinnamon, or other desired toppings.
