Spiced Quinoa Porridge

With aromatic spices and nourishing quinoa, our spiced quinoa porridge recipe is made with MILKLAB Lactose Free and poached pears for a balanced, delicious breakfast.

Ingredients
- 1 cup MILKLAB® Lactose Free
- 2 cups water1 cinnamon stick
- 1 vanilla bean1 star anise
- 2 whole cloves
- 1 cup white quinoa
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp almond meal
Method
- Combine water, cinnamon, vanilla, star anise and cloves in a saucepan over medium heat and simmer.
- Add quinoa and simmer for 12 minutes until liquid is absorbed.
- Add MILKLAB® Lactose Free, honey and almond meal, stir to combine and remove from heat.
- Top with poached pears and a sprinkle of ground cinnamon, or other desired toppings.
