Making its debut for MILKLAB's 10th Birthday, discover the Matcha Colada created by Danny Andrade.

There's something magical about the way coconut and pineapple come together. Add matcha into the mix and you've got yourself a drink that's equal parts energizing and indulgent.

This Matcha Colada is ridiculously smooth, thanks to MILKLAB Coconut's creamy texture that brings the whole thing together without weighing it down. Whether you're keeping it alcohol-free or adding a cheeky splash of rum, this drink hits different.

Perfect for lazy afternoons, summer gatherings, or honestly any time you need a mini vacation in a glass.

Ingredients

  • 40 ml Pineapple Juice
  • 30 ml MILKLAB Coconut
  • 10 ml Lemon Juice
  • 10 ml Vanilla Syrup
  • 1 sachet Morning Made Matcha Latte Vanilla Blend
  • Ice

To make it boozy:

  • 30 ml White Rum
  • 10 ml Malibu (Coconut Liqueur)
  • Reduce pineapple juice to 30 ml

Method

  1. Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with plenty of ice.
  2. Shake hard for 10–15 seconds — you want it cold and frothy.
  3. Strain into a tall glass filled with fresh ice.
  4. Garnish with a pineapple wedge, lime wheel, or light dusting of matcha.

Pro tip: Serve in a chilled tall or tiki-style glass with a wide straw. Want it even more refreshing? Top with a splash of soda water for a lighter finish.
